Snake Doc
This figures started out as Enterbay's David Palmer from the TV series "24". The very day that I saw the post over on OSW saying that Enterbay was doing this figure I knew I had to have him. Not to be used as David Palmer, but rather to be used as Jonas Blane or Snake Doc from the TV series "The Unit" A lot of people were hoping that one of the toy-manufacturers would pick up the line and make all the members from the show, but none ever did. So, like most I pre-ordered Enterbay's David Palmer and waited for him to arrive and be transformed into Jonas Blane.

Custom Jack Bauer from 24
This figure predates the Jack Bauer figures that were released by the toy manufacturers. I purchased the resin headsculpt from Echobase Toys in early 2006 after seeing a custom Jack Bauer that fellow OSW member Tracker47 posted. I contacted Tracker47, and he agreed to custom paint another headscult for me, and here it is. The head is on a DML Neo body.

Codename 47
I put this figure together originally based off the popular video game called Hitman, which was later turned into a popular movie. The figure is a Dragon's "Cody" which I felt was a perfect choice to use as #47. His suit is from one of the Reservoir Dogs figures and the Long coat is from the 21st Century Toys "Terrorist" figure. For his twin pistols which are called ballers in the video game, I chose to use the .50cal desert eagles that came with ZC's Julia figure.

Tactical Santa
I saw a similar figure that someone else had bashed years ago, so I decided to give it a try. I waited until after everything went on sale after Christmas at Walmart and purchased one of those cartoon looking 12" Santa figures. I held on to it for almost a year, just so I could bash this figure which we actually put on the top of our Christmas tree last year as the tree-topper. The figure is a Dragon figure, I cannot remember which one, but I thought the Sean Connery head would make for a nice tactical Santa.

Lara Croft
This is my version of Lara Croft from the video games and movies of Tomb Raider. I used the ZC Borg Julia figure and headsculpt and then miscellaneous loose parts. The Julia figure came with a black shirt and short black shorts that would have fit the "Lara Croft" style better, but black clothes tend to stain figures, so I opted not to use them.

War Journalist
A couple different companies have made War Journalist, but I missed out on both of them, and now when you see them the prices are outrageous. So, I decided to make my own from one of the Power Team figures that I thought had a cool headsculpt. Since this picture was taken, I have upgraded his camera to a Hot Toys DSLR and also picked up a video camera for him.
What inspired me to do this figure was the National Geographic documentary "Inside the Green Beret's", where a N.G. journalist team gets unprecedented access to a Special Forces team which is deployed in Afghanistan hunting the Taliban. After watching the video, I decided to make my own journalist to use in photos with my 1:6 Green Berets. I also made him his very own embedded journalist credential.... |
Suicide Bomber
Someone over on OSW posted a printable to make 1:6 scale explosives, so I decided to make a 1:6 scale Taliban suicide bomber. I used wires out of a piece of cat5 internet cable to connect the C4 to the detonator. I figured as many military figures as I have, they needed someone to hunt down.
